What if I told you that you could train your metabolism so well that you need to consume extra calories just to maintain your weight already. Most people will never reach a point to where they can eat virtually anything without seeing it in the mirror or feeling it around your waist. Many people hit the gym on a regular basis and wonder why they aren't losing fat. One question to ask is: "Is my training the most effective training that I can be doing?". One way to answer this question is to do your research and find a program that goes along with what you would like to accomplish.
The most effective training for fat loss is HIIT, which stands for High intensity interval training. This workout is about keeping the heart rate up to near max capacity @90%. The workout should last anywhere between 15-30 minutes. HIIT is very effective while you are actually working out, but even more effective 24 to 48 hours as your body is now burning calories at a higher rate. The theory behind it is that you exert yourself so much during the workout that your body needs to burn additional calories in order to keep up with the demand for nutrients and recovery. It has proved to be very effective as far as weight loss is concerned. I've had several clients tell me how their clothes are fitting different and they have more energy. Its important to know when you are losing fat you are also gaining muscle so your body composition will tell the tale of the tape so stay tight with your body measurements. I would advise you to pay someone to keep track of all that, it tends to be quite the headache.
When it comes down to it in my humble opinion everyone can benefit from doing HIIT training every now and then and you'll see gains you would have otherwise thought were impossible.
after.
